Does she know
That everything I know
Tells me she’s everything
That I could ever hope would make me happy
Everything I know
Tells me I can’t let her walk away

I thought about the words
And believed that it was all the big picture
The stars were so bright
And it spun me last night
Into a spiraling whirl of dreams
Where things were clear again
For both of us
And our colors stopped contrasting
And our pride turned to compassion
Ending all these defensive reactions

It’s ok to be scared of tomorrow

Life has just begun
